Size: m. 3,15 x 1,36 - 10’4” x 4’5”
Age: end of XIX century.
Exceptional carpet belonging to the same family of the so called “Eagle Kasak”, also made in the Karabagh district. The design is based on five multicoloured “boxes” centred by hooked or rhomboid medallions.
The border is similar to several “Eagle Kasaks”: a main band based on linked rosettes and its narrow accompanying borders.
The wool is soft and shiny. The general effect is of a very unusual rug with great colours.
