The piece belongs to quite a known class of prayer rugs.
A homeycombed white field is decorated with a variety of multicoloured flowers.
In the border, the main band contains a remnant of the dragon’s head.
This superb piece stands out for the sharpness of design, for the brightness of colours, for the weaving’s finesse.
