EAGLE KASAK

Size: m. 2,20 x 1,52 - 7'3" x 5'0"
Age: end of XIX century.

The eagle design is like a symbol of Caucasian carpets, one of the easiest to recognize and unforgettable and a target for collectors.
The so called "Eagle Kasaks" are carpets woven in the Karabagh district and their origin is from the village of Tchelaberd.

The carpet has warm and vivid colours ( please note the beauty of greens). The field is divided into two and a half medallions. The beautiful border is based on two medachil frames and a main central band with rosettes.
